RESIDENCY ANNOUNCEMENT: JOYA ASTOU
What struck us first is not only her impeccable style and taste in music but also her connection to the dance floor. We feel very flattered to announce Joya as our new resident. She will represent our sound and our direction as a collective.
Some words from her side:
I’m honored to join ANTIDOTE as a resident and excited to grow with a collective that aligns so deeply with my artistic vision and values. Lately, I’ve been exploring sound design and creating my own soundscapes, and I see this residency as a space to grow not only as a DJ, but as a multidisciplinary artist.
I’m also grateful for the chance to connect more with Amsterdam’s local community and contribute to making nightlife more accessible and welcoming for POC and marginalized communities, while continuing to support representation within the techno scene. ANTIDOTE feels like a natural and inspiring match, and I’m excited for what’s ahead :)

Feeling elated to have made my @operator.radio debut for the spectacular @poing_club about a week ago!! 🧚🏾♀️
For this set I tried to just have fun and kind of push myself by exploring sounds I really like listening to but have rarely implemented into my sets to date. funky, dark, energetic with a subtle hint of crushing kicks, that’s how I would describe this set!

Paradiso is per 1 mei op zoek naar gemotiveerde krachten die niet bang zijn voor een beetje fysieke inspanning. Na de Dag van de arbeid start in Paradiso namelijk de Nacht van de Arbeid. En terwijl de rest van de bevolking bezig is met dromen over hun pensioen, draai jij een bij ons een nachtdienst.
Hier werk je je niet uit de naad voor een baas, maar dans je je in het zweet op dikke techno: met een ticketprijs van 1 euro krijg je dan ook heel veel dansuren voor je zuurverdiende geld.

Last month I got invited back at the always magical @radio.temponaopara 🧚🏾♀️!! As the seasons change and days get brighter I find myself inspired by the subtle changes in my environment 🤍. I wanted to keep the pace of this set quite relaxed while playing around with more bouncy soundscapes and tracks that pack a punch.

About two weeks ago we had the honor to play a closing set at the iconic @cultuurpodiumperron whom are unfortunately closing their doors later this year😿. Thank you for having us for the last time, it’s truly sad to see a place like yours go 💛🖤.
