The Modern Victorian project brings cool, moody tones to life in this second-floor remodel. In the owner’s suite, midcentury modern elements were thoughtfully integrated with the home’s original millwork. The bedroom showcases stunning floor-to-ceiling wooden wall panels paired with sleek, modern touches, creating a seamless harmony between historic charm and 21st-century style.

How are your current projects going? Are there any big or exciting updates you’d like to share? We have several projects in construction, which is always an exciting time for our team and our clients. We have two large, highly custom residential projects in Minneapolis. Helping our team manage the intricate details while the crew at Welch Forsman brings them to life has been an incredible experience. As these two homes take shape, they are sure to be trendsetters with unique elements that change how we have thought about homes and what they should look like in our current era (hint: they are NOT “modern farmhouses”). Additionally, we have two homes in the Charleston area that are well underway. One is a new-build, Craftsman-inspired, two-story home located in a 1940s neighborhood that is seeing a renaissance due to its location near the historic peninsula of Charleston. We love the vibe that our clients have chosen here: craftsman, filled with natural light, built to last another 100 years. The second Charleston area home is located on Seabrook Island, and our clients have taken a 1990s-era, marsh-view home and allowed us to bring it into the 21st century with a fully updated floorplan for both levels. Their fresh coastal modern taste will be reflected throughout the home, transforming it from tapestry-draped to timelessly-coastal. We can’t wait to show off all four of these custom homes. Our 750 Madison Street Redevelopment has been named a 2026 Minnesota REjournal Real Estate Awards Finalist for Urban Redevelopment!
