Song and Dance
The album is out, go forth and enjoy it. We’ve worked hard on these songs and are very proud of each one, and of the album as a whole.
We’d like to thank everyone that’s been a part of this album and a part of this band. From the earliest members as the group was forming its identity, to the friends that joined in towards the end. The producers and engineers that brought our songs to life. Everyone who’s helped with videos, photo shoots, art work and creative direction. The brave souls that managed the band, booked the shows, helped us navigate the heavy paperwork and legal duties. The friends that drove us to shows when we didn’t have cars, manned the merch table, and came out to all our shows. All of our family for letting us learn music early on, and then supporting us and cheering us on as much when we first started as when we found success.
Theres too many to name, and we wouldn’t want to forget anyone. So you know who you are, thank you.
And thank you of course to everyone that listened to us, and continues to listen to us. Gosh darn it, you are the best.
Hi all - more posting to come as Angel will still be coming out on the 15th. We’re gonna get some of our favorite stories together about the last 10 years and post them eventually too. Love you so much thank you for all your support over the years. ❤️

we’re keeping our promise to you by keeping you updated on future projects! here’s a fun and different one- our longtime friend/photographer/subaru driver/jack of all trades Nick Pedro released a beautiful photobook with Betsey Carroll a few weeks back. Nick is a wonderful friend and collaborator and there’s no way we could have made it this far without him.
you maybe saw him play trombone with us the 2 times he did that, you’ve seen him in the looking out for you video, you’ve seen him in the documentaries, you’ve seen the photographs he’s taken of us at shows and for press etc., but this book is a something new and very special. nick is just as much a member of joy again as any of us, and we’re so proud of him for putting this out.
you can purchase the book at sharpereyes.net
thanks for reading my spiel, and hopefully we have some more new stuff to post of ours soon! ciao!

Here’s some more flicks and fotos from making Song and Dance. There’s also a pic of the whole gang at Niagara Falls, from 2022.
We’ve been working on this album off and on for a few years. If you’ve been to any of our shows in the past few years you’ll be able to hear the growth that these songs have gone through. If you haven’t, then you get to hear the best of the best without having to go through the journey.
On a less sentimental note, now for this posts emoji. Hit the comments with some cacti. Much like a cactus, this album has some cool water in a desert of hot hot mess. Thats a reach of a metaphor, I just like that emoji.
