As a manager, how do you create space for risk? How do you handle failure? @joulee is so brilliant about what great management looks like (she wrote a book on it!) - I loved this part of the WorkLife episode where she talks about what she does on her team to create space for risk. #worklifepodcast #work #career
You know who I love talking to about almost anything work and life? @joulee . She is so studied about so many different parts of her life and taking risks is one of them. I had Julie on the WorkLife podcast from @ted to talk about risk-taking because she has a fascinating daily practice that has helped her go from feeling like a “scaredy cat” to pushing herself to be courageous regularly. So fun to learn about — enjoy at the link in bio!
#challengeaccepted At one point in my youth I considered myself a tomboy and felt it was easier to make friends with guys. As I grew older and wiser I realized how sacred the sisterhood is—the depth of support, encouragement, inspiration and example from the women around me have made me who I am. Much ❤️ @evagondagreen
It’s my birthday today and I would be so thrilled if you would join me in donating to a non-profit that dollar for dollar has one of the best track records in helping underrepresented groups to vote: the Voter Participation Center. I’m matching up to $20,000 on donations. Please help me spread the word. @voterparticipationcenter
Sunday art project: recreate a famous painting with stuff you have at home. Handily, we have a baby so we decided to do some variation of Madonna and Child and looked for a piece where the kids could also play a role. Madonna and Child by Hans Zatzka fit the bill.

#firstphotochallenge 15 years ago when we recreated “prom” in college with the Viennese Ball and I got a second use out of that high school prom dress. (Photo not actually a Polaroid but since it was so low res and red-eyed I got to exercise my new #PicsArt editing skills.)
