With great joy and huge pleasure I’m happy to share the listen-back of my latest DIEMO radio show on @openlabradio ✨ This episode is very special because the guest of the show was @josslive presenting an outstanding vinyl-only compilation dedicated to 13 years of his Kyiv-based label @artreform.records Artreform celebrates its anniversary as the beginning of a new chapter. That’s why this impressive 8-track mini-album appears as release #51 symbolizing that there is still a lot of exciting music and stories ahead. The compilation is divided into two parts, each with four tracks, creating a true liminal space between past and future — between canonical house sounds and futuristic sonic experiments. The release features exclusive tracks from longtime friends of the label such as Silat Beksi, IO (Mulen), Brizman, and a brand-new track by the label’s ideologist Evgeny Joss himself. Alongside this, the compilation includes deep and stylish deep-house and tech-house cuts from Brizman, Mad Dim, David Kareyan, Gorje Hewek & Binu Raal as well as the powerful “Tuman” by Harald Björk and the ethereal, hypnotic “Vehemence” by Swedish star producer Cirkel Square. I love the fact its compilation was recorded entirely on vinyl and proud that Evgeny took part in my radio show! We’ve known each other for many, many years and have shared dance floors and stages more than once.
