Next Thursday 14th May @joshteskey will be joining us for Episode 4: Vulnerability in art. He’ll be joined by @gazdutlow and @artist_mlak . This event has sold out but the waitlist is open. We look forward to seeing you all soon.
I can’t believe it’s been five years since the amazing @joshteskey of @theteskeybrothers and I did the album Push The Blues Away. It was such a massive honour to sing next to Josh everyday in the studio and write all these amazing songs together and just do something really raw, bluesy and bare bones. Big thanks Josh! Happy Anniversary Brother!
Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined singing upon a stage in India. A beautiful experience @mahindrablues .
First photos my own, the good ones @ian.laidlaw
After a huge 6 months on the road in North America and Europe, it’s good to be home again.
Exciting things in the works.
A colab I did with @aliceivymusic “Do I need to know what love is” is out now and our last show with @theteskeybrothers for the year is coming up at @townfolkfest next month. Next year is starting to take shape too.
Until then I’m taking some time to focus on my plumbing. You can take the boy away from the plumbers but you can’t take the plumber away from the boy.
So this happened … 😅🩵🙏 @theteskeybrothers
As I was rolling back through photos of the past year I found this!! WHAT?!?! Haha the crazy thing is @joshteskey and I sung this song for the first time maybe 7 years ago in Bellingen, me playing the piano and us both serenading a room of like 30 people … now here we are in Dallas, Texas to a sold out ballroom full of screaming Teskey fans!! Ray Charles played by this beautiful band and my dear friends!
This clip just got lost in the abyss of fast paced tour life, one crazy evening after the next and my first ever US shows AND NOW! I’m finally going back to do my own headline tour this Fall across North America, come find me please please 🔗🩵🎹 all my love x
My axe making friend came along to our show in NYC and made me a beautiful custom axe. After some confused discussions with baffled security guards it found its way into the venue. Cant thank you enough mate @voicesofjake
