I'm so thankful to have had this opportunity working with SCADpro, Kohler Co., and my fellow designers, whom I now call friends. Crazy to think that in 70 days, a diverse group of designers with different backgrounds and specialties accomplished what most design studios struggle to do. We went in knowing it would be tough and challenging, and indeed, it was. Nonetheless, it was those ups and downs that made our collective effort so effective and fun. A quick study on Biomaterials. We looked to a more sustainable front for manufacturing products. Stumbling upon EGGSHELL BIOCOMPOSITES. Once cured, it has a rigid and durable structure that can be formed into any shape using a mold.
Our group each made a different product. I thought it would be fun and interesting to challenge the conventional egg tray with a fresh design & making it out of eggshells.
