Striving and fear are not fruits of the Spirit. The antidote to chaos is order and that makes us feel like we have to strive .... But order is not control, order is alignment with Jesus. Open Hands... Surrendered expectations.
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
We can’t always control the things that happen to us, but we decide how we respond.
Every moment ~ joyful or painful ~ serves a purpose and has its place in a larger, divine plan.
Thankful for the grace of God in the tension of it all. “Keep on”
What the opposite of the Sermon on the Mount would sound like.
The world says “exalt yourself,” Jesus says “humble yourself.”
The world says “protect your life,” Jesus says “lose your life for My sake, and you will find it.”
Where the world says “love yourself first,” Jesus says “love as I have loved you.”
And in the end, one path leads to temporary gain… and eternal loss.
The other path may cost you everything… but leads to life.

Segundo día en nuestro viaje misionero a Costa Rica. No hay palabras para describir cuando el Espíritu Santo se mueve en un grupo de personas que están desesperadas por escuchar de Dios. Él se mueve de una manera que está tan por encima de cualquier cosa que puedas esperar, y Él te da las palabras en el momento para conectar exactamente con lo que las personas necesitan escuchar. Es increíble. Estoy aprendiendo a caminar en la unción que Él me ha dado, y estoy muy agradecida de tener esta oportunidad.
