Wow! I'm at a loss for words.
I'm beyond excited for this. If someone were to have told the 8-year-old me I would get to watch a new Spaceballs movie, let alone have the honor of working on it, I would have used the Schwartz against you. And using the Schwartz is exactly what Mel Brooks, Josh Gad, and Amazon MGM Studios will be doing in theaters in 2027! This is a day one, must see release! If this is not the best announcement of the year, I'm not sure what is!

I was that child who saw “Spaceballs” before I ever saw “Star Wars” and then wondered why anyone would do a dramatic remake of the Mel Brooks classic. It is therefore the greatest gift of my life to now help take the reins and work alongside Mel and this incredible group to do a sequel to the movie that first inspired George Lucas. 🪐🏐🎾🏀

To say this is the hardest Mother’s Day I’ve had would be an understatement, but it’s a also a beautiful one because while my mother is struggling, she is still here, still loved and still on a path to full recovery. Today more than ever, I am beyond grateful to be reminded of the power and beauty of motherhood. These three women represent creation, strength, unlimited love, nurturing, and guidance. A mother, a wife, and a mother-in-law, each of whom has had hardships along the way and overcome them to give their children the best chance at success. On this Mother’s Day, I beg you to hold that Mom tight. You never know what tomorrow may bring.
The past two months have been the hardest my fam and I have ever gone through. My Mom is such a fighter, but man is there an enormous fight ahead. When you survive the impossible, what comes next is a blessing on top of a steep mountain you have to traverse blindfolded on one leg. That’s where we are right now. The road ahead is truly difficult, but with the help of the incredible folks rehabilitating my mom and pushing her to once again walk and talk and fight, we’re going to climb that mountain — even if it means all of us pushing her uphill for a bit. Grateful to the folks who do this for a living, working in PT , OT, respiratory, and medical support, giving families like mine endless hope even in the darkness that sometimes feels infinitely hopeless. Thank you all. 🙏

Krupp, Director of Griffith Observatory and Elizabeth Greenway, Executive Director of Griffith Observatory Foundation for the amazing tour and the amazing event.
