Coming up on a year since we lost our brother. This weekend is one Iāve honestly been dreading . Lots of work and preparation went into it. I want the weekend to be one of celebration, not of grief or stress though. Iāve been stressing about this weekend for months and itās here, and Im trying to shift my thinking to gratitude. I miss Josh everyday , but Iām thankful to have met someone who left such an impact on me and everyone around him. Im thankful for everyone who has played a part to make it happen, the bands, the venue , the promoters and the scene.We have some limited screen printed posters we will be selling thanks to @myohscreenprinting and coozies thanks to @james_bluedeviltattoo with all proceeds to the cause . One of the biggest achievements in my life was writing a book during the pandemic. I promised myself this year Iād finish the second one I started during the worst 2 years of my life. Writing has helped me understand myself and given me a way to feel understood. Itās nerve racking, but here it is . āHeart Failureā is now available for preorder as well as a third press of unwell with an alternate cover . Both pressings limited to 100. Blows my mind anyone has ever wanted to read a book I released , but Iām extremely thankful. Link is in my bio.
One of the happiest moments I can remember. I fought so hard to be here, faced a lot of self doubt and a lot of second guessing. Every day was a day in defiance of perceived outcome. I beat a tough blackbelt by submission in a cage tonight in the greatest city in the world surrounded by people I love . Thank you Fabian for the match. Thank you WCFL for having me.
