First year of moving to Birmigham, I start to play around with the idea of getting into property investing.
Two years later with a lot of failure but I built a six figure property business. đŞđ˝
Why am I holding this like itâs an award? In some ways⌠I guess it is.
A Valentineâs card turned up in the postbox at the branch last week.
Just âBMâ written on the front.
Naturally, everyone assumed it was for the Branch Manager.
Some even suggested he mightâve written it himself⌠heâs definitely not nice enough to get one otherwise.
Turns out the culprit was my arch enemy, Susan who insists on calling me âBig Manâ in front of customers. A nickname thatâs annoyingly stuck. Must be because of my peak masculine physique and not because of my weight gain. Iâm sure!
She signed it âBCâ because once she said she was part of Gen X⌠and I accidentally replied, âI thought you were BC⌠Before Christ.â Oops đŹ
It genuinely took me almost a week to work out the card was actually for me.
But jokes aside, little moments like this remind me how lucky we are with the team weâve got.
Workâs a lot more enjoyable when youâre surrounded by good people who can laugh, work hard, and not take everything too seriously.
