for the last year I've been editing a movie that I think is very good and I'm excited for it to be released later this year and I've been doing push-ups at home in preparation and ten months ago I quit nicotine cold turkey because my chest hurt and I feel better but my snack levels are still elevated and I got rid of my digital camera and went back to film cameras and I've been taking walks and I've taking pictures and I figured I would share a handful though I doubt many of you will see them because I've been throttled for being too flagrant on main or because Instagram is like a houseplant that you have to water with your time and I just don't have the time but here are the pictures regardless because I like them a lot.
I hope you're well. The cold is almost over.
Moggy. He was born the same day Rocks passed. His kitten energy is lifting Julio's spirits (as well as testing his saintlike patience). He climbs on everything and eats anything -- chips, cantaloupe, yogurt, cheese, Julio's food (see photo no. 10) -- if it's eatable he'll steal it.
Anyway, we love our baby gremlin.

I've spent most of this year in front of a computer editing a movie, but here's some pictures that might lead you to believe I have a vibrant social life. Also, an animated me. Sponsored by Taco Bell Live Más®
if Julio is our house's heart then Rocks represents its soul. Yesterday our home lost its soul and our hearts are broken.
Grief. Real, visceral grief.
Rest in Peace Rocks aka Mr. Beef aka Fat Salmon aka Mr. Magoo aka Beef Bulgogi Bowl aka Fat Phillip aka Sweet Potato Boy aka Grandma aka Lord Beefington aka Ugly Baby. You helped me become a better, more sensitive and caring person. You slowed me down and tuned me in to something quieter. Something more special. You set the pole position of what a cat can be; a benchmark that all future felines will be compared to. From here until the end of time. Sucks for them.
Bye for now, little alien.
