Proud to say ‘Kite Zo A’ won best documentary at the Prix Iris Canadian film awards, congrats to @kavehnabatian@woodjerrygabriel@zachcniles@lakoumizik and everyone else involved. We filmed it while the band and me were finishing off the album in Haiti, for a while we weren’t even sure we’d finish this film at all (it was Kaveh’s hours of grueling editing work, on top of filming and directing, that really pushed it over the line, thanks again to him) so it’s amazing to see this. And @woodjerrygabriel ‘s work and poetry took the film to another level. It’s streamable (I think) on Qwest, and hopefully wider distribution in the future. 🙏
