JOSEPH HOLLAS AS CALIBAN & ALONSO
Joseph Hollas is a writer and actor living and creating in London. He has collaborated consistently with Brave Mirror, writing sketch shows ‘Attention Span’ and ‘Attention All Passengers’. He has performed in Fringe venues across London and Edinburgh. Joseph has an interest in abstract storytelling and fresh perspectives.
He has recently undertaken the improv course ‘Dream Machine Ensemble’ with Make it Beautiful Theatre Company, and is part of the Writers Group for Director’s Cut Theatre. He is currently writing a sketch every day for an entire year.
Previous theatre roles include: Kenneth in ‘What’s the Craic’ at White Bear Theatre, Narrator in ‘Attention Span: Something New’ at Golden Goose Theatre, Writer in ‘One Man Show’ at The Cockpit, Child in ‘The Foot Monster’ at Actors East Studio.
Previous film roles include: Cillian in ‘Mess’(2024), Soldier 2 in ‘The Black Watch’(2021)

Five years and nine productions after their first staging of ‘The Tempest’, award-nominated theatre company Brave Mirror return with a new version of their maiden show, and Shakespeare’s final masterpiece. Performed at The Cockpit in April, the show is a key moment of growth for the company, playing to their largest audiences yet in one of London’s most established venues for emerging artists and fringe creatives.

‘Attention All Passengers’ will be directed by Jamie Saul, produced by Thomas Duggan and Holly Bancroft, and features original music by Maia Harding.
All our work for 2024 will be made sustainably, using guidance from the Theatre Green Book. Our creative teams, as always, will be made up of emerging artists of all ages, towards the start of their careers.
