Today is all about one thing and that is my Dad turns 80 🎉 so excited to celebrate the day with him and the absolute legend that he is. He’s taught me so many lessons over the years which I will forever be grateful for. I could not be more proud of my amazing Dad ❤️❤️❤️

Always a reminder at this time of the year of the harsh reality of cancer. Yesterday was my Mum’s birthday and sadly another one without her. 5 years ago she had just been given her 4th breast cancer diagnosis, whilst I was also going through a scare of my own. Today I had my yearly mammogram for which I am extremely grateful that the NHS decided a few years ago I should be checked each year . I know not everyone is fortunate to have a mammogram every year and so many haven’t even reached the age to get one, so I just wanted to put this as a reminder to check your boobs regularly.
On my Mum’s last diagnosis even the doctor didn’t think it could be cancer again and sadly by that time it had already spread to other parts of her body. Miss you always Mum 💗 #breastcancerawareness
