The gusli (Russian: гусли, Ukrainian: гусла, husla) is the oldest East Slavic multi-string plucked instrument (#zither family).
Its roots lie in the Novgorodian Republic and has its relatives around the world:
#kantele in Finland, kannel in Estonia, kanklės in Lithuania, kokles in Latvia, zither in Germany, citera in the Czechia, and psalterium in France, but also Kanun in Persia and Arabic countries. It is also related to ancient instruments like Chinese gu zhen, Japanese koto and guslim in ancient Sumer…

Οι Poets Missing κατεβαίνουν στο ΚΕΤ τη βραδιά του Αγίου Βαλεντίνου για μια ζωντανή, αυτοσχέδια μουσική συνομιλία με τα λόγια της Emily Dickinson, τα έργα «Ροζ Σημαία» και «Η Ενοχή της Γειτονιάς» της εικαστικού Γεωργίας Λαλέ, και με αναφορές σε μουσικές που αγαπάμε παράφορα.
Είναι η μέρα της αγάπης: η μέρα όπου η Delta Harp του Joris Beets —ένα όργανο που επαναπροσδιορίζει τον τρόπο που βλέπουμε την άρπα— οι απρόσμενες και ανεπιτήδευτες υφές που γεννά ο Tim Ward με το λάπτοπ του, το πολυσχιδές πιάνο και η φωνή της Δώρας Παναγοπούλου, οι ρηξικέλευθοι πειραματισμοί του Βασίλη Τζαβάρα στην κιθάρα και το ανορθόδοξο, γυμνό μαντολίνο του Πάνου Κανελλόπουλου, συναντούν τη φωνή της καλεσμένης τους Τατιάνας Ζωγράφου.

♫ The concert “The Beauty of the Husband and other experiments in guided improvisation” is the meeting on stage of 𝗝𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝘁𝘀 (delta harp+pedals), 𝗧𝗶𝗺 𝗪𝗮𝗿𝗱 (live electronics), 𝗗𝗼𝗿𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘂 (piano/shruti/electronics) and 𝗣𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘁𝗶𝘀 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗼𝘀 (mandolin). An evening of improvised music that seeks to initiate a dialogue between improvised sound, fragments from non-narrative films, and excerpts from Anne Carson’s mind-blowing "The Beauty of the Husband".
