Our admiration for Japanese culture and its contributions to cinema is undeniable. From visual storytelling and atmosphere, to discipline, symbolism, and cinematic language, Japan has inspired generations of filmmakers around the globe — ourselves included.
For that reason, having our work screened in Tokyo is not only an honor, but a true delight for our entire team. Being able to access new audiences, industry spaces, and potential co-production tables within the Japanese and Asian market represents a very meaningful milestone for Material Cinema.
