We’re proud to unveil a stunning new mural at the Frank Callen Boys & Girls Club, brought to life by the incredibly talented Jorge Cuartas 🎨
This piece celebrates two of our amazing alumni, Flau’Jae Johnson and Nolan Smith, whose journeys continue to inspire the next generation of Club kids to dream big and work hard.
A huge thank you to Sherwin-Williams for providing the paint and to SCAD SERVE for helping make this vision a reality. This mural is more than art, it’s a reminder of what’s possible 💙
From the time that I had the privilege of painting with both King 157 and King Bee in the Bronx. Mid 90s. #freeagentscrew #uwarz @1984.yo@kingbeeuw@theroyalkingbeeuw
Reposting this one for the facial recognition specialists that supposedly cost people jobs. GTFOH #inkheads #freeagentscrew #youredilusionalyouvoodoolovingidiot
Searching through piles of photo enlargements and realizing that if the point of being on this planet is to lead a rewarding life, then mission accomplished. Man am I grateful for the experiences I’ve had so far; zero complaints. Rad kids, and plenty of adventures. I can’t wait to see what life has in store for the second half. #mediaallstars #freeagentscrew #aintdoneyet
Super impromptu paint session at my brother @ricks.73 ‘s wall with @emit_df (who I only tolerate occasionally), @keithjive (who I like way more than Emit), and of course @ricks.73 (the host with the most). Great paint session followed by a great meal. #freeagentscrew #msgcrew #bronxteam #iyq #attmostdays
Very few pieces have had the impact on my Graff career that the Power piece did. I painted this in the early days of the Hialeah Penit. The piece was actually inspired by Ice T’s song Power (which isn’t available on IG). That Ice T album was on heavy rotation for me at the time. I painted with Meer, Mek, Dez, and Brim that day if I’m not mistaken. For some reason I signed it with my full legal name despite it being an illegal piece. Slide number two is the original Power concept sketch which I drew while sitting on a lounge chair aboard a Royal Caribbean cruise with my parents, after my Dad drunkenly gave me a hundred dollar bill. Slide 3 & 4 are of @thevenster getting the Power piece tattooed on him. Slide 5 was the pervert shirt we made inspired by the concept, and redrawn by Oncer/ Dean. The last two are just sketches for the Power Part 2 piece which I never painted. The funny thing about it is how much the concept of “Power” and what comprises it has changed in the last 36 years. Is power now followers, likes, crypto, oil, or is it still the almighty dollar?

Late eighties with Sine, Dez, and Doce. Back when the crew came first, and we worked as a unit. I love the colors on this one. Great times in Miami. #freeagentscrew
