Here's a little background story time about this fun lil art journey I floated my way into — and one of my favorite full-circle moments: My first ambient Tipper set back in 2016 was what really opened my eyes to self-reflection and created a whole new world for me to love and experience. Laying in my first cuddle puddle with strangers who welcomed me in with open arms that weekend, while melting away to the sound of @tippermusic paired with the beautiful journey that @johnathansinger curated, a seed was planted. 2021: I was looking for something to keep me busy with the current state of the world. That’s when @daydreemerstudios recommended I check out Resolume to see if it was something I’d be interested in. After only a few days of mixing clips, I decided I wanted to learn how to make my own content, and that started a rabbit hole of new software, creativity, and hyper-fixations. 2025: After a year of learning TouchDesigner, I started making RayTK scenes. It just so happened that @daydreemerstudios mentioned the Shpongle show he was playing and said he was looking for custom input videos for some ideas he had and was curious to see if I could help. After weeks of building 3D input videos and experimenting with settings, we ended up with some clips and the “Flower Shpongess.” THIS WAS THE FULL CIRCLE MOMENT: Having something I helped create, and seeing one of my favorite visual artists mixing it live with the sounds of one of my favorite musicians, is a feeling I can’t begin to explain. Watching them create this magical moment for everyone in the crowd, and knowing my time and energy helped make it happen, lit a fire in me unlike anything I’ve ever felt. There are several people who have really helped me tap into all of this over the years, but the person I owe the most credit to is Charlie (@daydreemerstudios ). From studying visuals and explaining what was happening on the screen at Astral Valley, showing me Resolume and giving me my first VJ lesson, continuing to present new ideas and opportunities to push the craft further - this is all part of me now and something I can’t express enough gratitude for... As the old saying goes: “Thank you Chawwwlie” 💝

It's been a while so here's another lil update: @daydreemerstudios sent me a folder a while back of images to pick through and play with. There was a few that stood out that reminded me of one of my favorite concepts to live by: "nondualism". I took those images and rendered them again with some of the new tools currently available. I then tossed them into a workflow I've been modifying and dialing in for the past ~5months to add some interesting motion and morphing while trying to keep it more controlled and cohesive. This "Dancing with Duality" test run came out far better than expected and will be fun to keep dialing in and exploring different concepts of dancing through this collective experience we all share. If you ever want to know more about the process or behind the scenes feel free to reach out with any questions. Hope you enjoy :)

Started another side project to see how we can animate album covers. They can be used for album promos and show visuals. Wanted to test this out using the homie @vinjasound 's album cover from his newest album "How The Turntables". Tons of tasteful tunes so make sure you go peep! Started out simple with a toned down 'live wallpaper' style, but have some extra juicy clips that came out of this first run that I'll post later this winter. 🎛️👀

Got a nice collection of these Fluid clips saved up for some future mapping ideas. Always willing to share my stuff if you want to play around with them :)

Some experiments with one of the vertical clips from the Collab with @daydreemerstudios . The lurky ominous style is my favorites to work with but don't picture myself getting to play them too often so I'm dropping one of the versions here. Some of my touch designer projects spouted into Resolume. Track: Seabeams - @herbalistekmusic

Finally going to start making posts instead of the story update clips: Currently my focus is making some interactive visual installations to set up at some shows/festivals/galleries. This test project is made with Touch Designer, using an Xbox Kinects Infrared to capture motion with applied effects to get the end result. Everything was made using a hand and a piece of fabric. Hoping this eventually sparks some ideas of how to add the crowd/human aspect to the digital side of the things. Excited for this little dive into the unknown. Recorded clip from an experimental session, listening to @e_____esok unreleased mix on SC. Had the please to hear these tunes live in a big rig. Give him a follow and keep those eyes peeled for when he drops the EP 👀

When I first started getting into digital stuff it was for animations and making visuals, but once life got back to normal I no longer had the free time to sit around and fully finish ideas and projects. Mandelbulb3D was one of the first softwares I taught myself to make some animations and one of the styles I enjoyed. Hoping to get back into it with the different styles and techniques I've learned since I took a break from it all.
