We’re back with another familiar name from the Shella community. We’d like to introduce our next residents, Parta.
Parta is a dynamic mega-mix of visual art and music that goes beyond the boundaries of a typical radio show. Featuring an array of visual computer artists, DJ’s, and musicians.
Parta emerged in mid-2019, hosting small, DIY parties around Prague with a close group of friends. When the pandemic hit, the parties stopped, but the crew adapted—Jonza honed his visual craft, while Nuvada focused on DJing and production. They turned to live streaming, broadcasting from their homes and later from closed nightclubs around the city. This hands-on experience with online streaming and their technical expertise not only laid a foundation for developing Shella Radio, but also inspired a monthly show featuring visual artists and DJs.
