I’m Jonty, a DJ and music lover based in Bristol and I’ve sorted a 100% vinyl mix for the crew at Tribe Select. Since picking up turntables last year I’ve become very much addicted to buying records and for this mix I’ve dug out some of my favourites in my collection, some of which I’ve heard out at local venues here in Bristol and others found in the local record stores.
Exploring genres of deep, tech, tribal and progressive house, this mix starts soft with plenty of influence from US west coast house music before getting into the heavier progressive side for the second half. Mostly consisting of records from the late 90s and early 2000s all of which have had a massive impact on my taste for music.
