Just got back from a fun trip to Canada for spring bear. Warm windy weather and a mild winter seemed to help a slower than normal start of the hunt, but Ben and I were lucky to find two good bears the last night of hunt about hr apart. My wife is the best. I’m working at the hunt expo in Utah, and we just wrapped up for the day. I asked her what she was doing on her bday and Valentine’s Day while her lame husband ditched her. She sent me this pic with the charcoal of my ram that she started right before I left. It’s coming along awesome! Anyway. Just wanted to share. This page is mostly hunting/shooting stuff, and I don’t share much fam stuff. But I wouldn’t be able to do a lot of this if it wasn’t for her holding the fort down and being the best wife and mom! My wife is cool. I mostly just post hunting/shooting stuff on here, but I have the best little family. They’re way cooler than me, and I’m very grateful for her and the boys! I was just talking to a buddy about this hunt last year, and then started looking through pics and have so many cool ones I haven’t shared. Had another amazing trip to NWT with @keele.river . Their crew and the country they operate in is absolutely amazing. Always fun to catch up with an old ram like this one. Scroll. ➡️. I wish there was a way to show this image better, but 🤷♂️. I took this in NWT at @keele.river and I like it😂. It’s 6 hi res pics stitched together. The detail is so cool which doesn’t come through on ig very well, but i still wanted to share. We’d been hiking in on and off rain all day and as we neared the top of this ridge it had turned to snow. We hurried to set up tents and just as we got them pitched the light broke through the clouds, and it cleared a bit so we could see down the valley. It was such an amazing scene. I was running around the hill like an idiot taking pics and swapping lenses as fast as I could while tripping over my untied laces from jumping out of the tent as fast as I could. There are many miles of hiking that I curse the extra weight of my camera gear, but reliving these moments and experiences makes it very very worthwhile to me. @mtn.forged@leupoldoptics@mdt_hunts@wilderness_athlete@kifaru_intl@hilleberg_hunting
