Synau Coll FFRWD rhif 1— The Lost Sounds of FFRWD number 1.
This show features stray audio from the archives of ATOMVA, FFRWD’s studio.
The first programme contains fragments gathered over several years, sounds curated using a variety of electronic devices creating power electronics and fractured tones. Sounds collected, misused, left to age, using synths that don’t really behave.
It’s noise created with electricity and moments that might feel accidental but aren’t.
FFRWD is Welsh avant-garde performer Glyn Roberts. The artist fuses raw sound creation, found sound and power electronics to create intense, atmospheric
soundscapes.

NPOT - EVE’S KLEIN - 6
Following in the tradition of Bach, Cage, and Blobby; Joe and Jonny (Nuanced Presence of Tongue) dive into each recording with no preconceived ideas about the sounds they wish to make. No plan, no map. No target and no mistake. Trusting their instincts and their desire to reject instinct in equal measure, they engage in dialogue with their equipment and each other. Provoking, reacting and responding to each other in real time. There is no ‘undo’ button. They follow new trajectories regardless of destination, repeating this process until time runs out.
