What a privilege it was last night to be on the final cruise of the Royal Iris on the River Mersey. This ferry has been on the river for 66 years and has earned its retirement. Dad was a deck hand when this ferry came into service and he celebrated last night catching up with people he hasn’t seen for years on the cruise thank you so much to the Mersey Ferries for inviting us and making memories
