3 years… 3 YEARS? Well, to be honest it’s closer to 4 years since our last showreel. That’s criminal. But hey, we’ve been busy, not a bad problem to have! This reel actually feels pretty damn special and we’re really stoked on it. I think it’s because it actually encapsulates what perch “is”. Over the last couple of years, we’ve expanded from our action sport & commercial content, into a more branded, people-led micro docs. And to be honest, this is entirely by accident. It’s just where we seem to have found our thing. Lots of our work has been rocking up to a location, and filming people who have usually never been on camera before, to get them comfortable, and build trust so we can tell their story in the best way possible. And we’re really proud of the fact we can do that - and that clients trust us to do that. It’s really bloody rewarding work. So thank you to everyone who invites us and enables us to shoot these films and tell these stories.

Turned 30 today.
Spent the morning with my babe of a wife @bethanyjcass , looking back at the last 10 years… my 20s.
Hard to believe that a decade ago I was still in Whistler, Canada. 20-year-old Jonny didn’t want to leave - genuinely thought he’d stay there forever. When I finally did leave, I honestly thought it was all over: no more snowboarding, filmmaking, character-building failures, or the wild friendships that came with it all.
But if I could tap that Jonny on the shoulder and tell him that 10 years later he’d have a wife (kids en route), a home, a thriving film production company in London and still get to snowboard and skate with mates - he’d be fucking stoked. And probably a whole lot less panicked that life had “peaked.”
Let the good times roll.
Still skating (just), still failing (constantly), still “all in” (never changing).
Feeling properly grateful for everyone who made those wild, weird, wonderful twenties so special.
