Chuffed to have played a small role in the Standing of the Hurdy Stone- a new sacred standing stone as a 50,000 year durational art experiment. Masterminded by Jimmy from the KLF and Jem from The Pogues, who both signed off the safe erection on my H&S clipboard after stone blessings by Tree Carr and lifting machinery blessings by the brilliant Road Wytches of the Museum of Roadside Magic! All part of NeoAncients festival currently charging up the leylines of Stroud. #neoancients
Walking early doors. A spring morning with my friend the wonderful @jonny_fluffypunk . If you don’t know him, follow him now. Walking and moving and talking, about how we move through life and therefore each bit of creating is like starting again because we’re starting from where we’ve got to.
We were in the newly community-owned Heavens which also meant we felt free to follow our noses, go off piste, get a tiny bit lost.
And how making art sometimes means making nothing except space to muse but also how sharing our skits and sketches really helps because it means that they did exist, because ultimately creators need other people to hear, see, experience.
So, thanks to Jonny for being a joyful friend and thanks to everyone who is ready to support an artist whatever state they’re in, and I hope to play the piano again to some of you soon :)

OK, there's loads of posts with people rightly complaining about shitty AI gig promo, so here's the poster for the latest Penny Gaff on May 15th, which is cut n paste in the Spirit of 77 sense, and has entailed lino cutting, letterpress printing, and the destruction of a 1962 OS map of Aldershot, which is something I don't do lightly... it's taken most of the day, but I'd only have spent the time on drugs.
