I am finally getting around to posting some of the work I did at the end of last year. I made two posters for @deadmau5 at Red Rocks for Day of the Deadmau5 VIP. One standard and one holographic foil. There was also a bandana design and a hoodie. More soon! Designed at @plsthk
Our final Fall at The Fillmore artist feature: Jon Carr! Jon has been designing posters for The Fillmore since 2019, starting with Bombay Bicycle Club, up to his most recent for Max McNown. Enjoy this peek into his creative world and his contributions to our poster legacy!

“Casino Royal” 24”x30” Acrylic, Ink, and paper on Canvas. One of the many paintings that will be on display at Brass Tacks. Opening party for PULP will be Aug 21st at 7pm.
Over the past year, I started painting again. I wanted to work on a large scale, and I wanted the images to bring me joy. These paintings are a reflection of who I am and the things that make me happy.
When I was growing up, my parents had artwork of vintage cigarette ads and Western movie posters on the walls. I know that played a huge role in shaping my aesthetic, and I’m so grateful for that influence.
I’m excited to showcase this work at a place I consider home. Please join me for the opening party on August 21st at Brass Tacks in Hayes Valley.
The world lost it’s one and only Budd Carr on Sunday - the best father, husband, and friend anyone could ask for. He was my role model and the giant that I looked up to all my life. I witnessed him make an impact on so many lives, including a staggering amount of creatives, which made being his son a wonderful privilege. His unwavering support and deep love extended to everyone he knew and he had a talent for bringing people together, especially his family, which he treasured more than anything.
I love being Budd Carr’s son and I will miss him every day.
