Last week, I had the pleasure of speaking to a group of senior design students at @tcu.designfocus . What an incredible experience. We explored copyright fundamentals and discussed how to push the boundaries of photography in design projects. The students asked thoughtful, insightful questions, and the whole experience was truly heartwarming.

Recent shoot done for @thatphotoschool as part of my final assignment inspired by John Wycherley. The assignment was to source images to use as reference or "go-by", dissect it and recreate it as closely as possible. This was an awesome exercise and I've learned so much over the past month researching, planning and executing. Following up my previous post with this second angle. There’s softer, more diffused light here due to some cloud coverage and thought this look was worth exploring.
Overall, I think the previous shot has more character using harder highlights and shadows accentuating body lines on the car. But this light treatment could totally suit a car with smoother, less angular design.

Spotted this location off 183 near DFW Airport and couldn’t pass up the opportunity to shoot. The light was just right, and the overall aesthetic was very clean, minimal and geometric. Also, new wheel setup for once.
