Calum Scott - Avenoir is out today!!
This album has taken me all over the world and has been a massive part of my life for the past three years. I canāt quite believe itās out.
I wrote twelve songs on this record and worked as a producer in some capacity on all fourteen of them.
Every song on here is real and lived in and I hope you find comfort and joy in the words, the music and the melodies.
I canāt thank @calumscott enough for his openness, honesty and friendship. Youāve made me feel like this is my album too. To be trusted with your art is the highest of compliments.

Calum Scott - Die For You is out today!
We wrote this song half a decade ago in February 2020, the month before the first covid lockdown. Looking back through all these pictures has filled me with such nostalgia - it all feels like a lifetime ago. We spent a week writing Die For You - I remember agonising over every single word and melody. It feels like we had more time back then.
Since the first demo weāve recorded four different pianos, cut the vocal at least 5 times, tracked a beautiful 12 piece string section before deciding there was a magic to the original demo strings. Itās been mixed, mixed again, then mixed again with hundreds of revisions. We added synths, pads, drums and god knows what else and somehow weāve ended up here. I hope you love it as much as we do.

A few months ago, Simon reached out to see if Calum would sing on a song supporting Gordon Brownās charity, Multibank.
The first statistic I read really hit me hard: āA million children are sleeping on the floor or without a bed of their own.ā I knew right away this was something we had to be a part of.
Multibankās mission is incredible: they take surplus goods that would otherwise go to waste and redistribute them to those who need them most.
