I’m finding a calm respite within Daniel Um’s dusky, evening scenes today. Daniel’s narratives often bloom from the center out into a hazy blurred landscape, a bit like what it may feel like if you close your eyes and try to remember a cool crisp evening outdoors. The quiet calm of the evening when camping as an adolescent. 🏕️🌌🌙
