For our throwback Thursday #tbt this week, we are reflecting on some of our recent building envelope work - both as renovations and new construction. A tight envelope supports right-sized and efficient building systems. Seeing these projects to the left of the IGCC (<0.25) and PHIUS (<0.11) guidelines for "excellent airtightness" brings us a lot of joy. Recent testing of the NU Cyber Fusion Center (new construction, nearing completion) achieved 0.05! For our #tbt this week we look back at a major capital project at Norwich University --- renovations to three existing buildings (Ainsworth, Dewey, and Schneider), one new building (Mack), and a major site and infrastructure package.
