So… our year long Las Vegas Residency came to an end last month and I’ve been meaning to post this but I’ve had to re-write it multiple times because there is simply too much to say about this show and this cast; so I’ll try to finally sum it up (kinda):
To our director @casey_mcconachie … thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing me in to choreograph this show; it has been a pleasure working alongside you. Watching you bust your ass for the success of this show and your cast is something I’ll never stop looking up to. I loved every second of the creative journey and can’t thank you enough for giving me the chance.
To my Spice Girls: Seeing peoples eyes light up in the audience because of the magic that YOU guys brought to that stage is nothing short of inspirational. Thank you for taking my notes and having patience with me when I was a bit of a bitch (which let’s face it, I often can be) you really brought the Spice Girls and the “girl power” back every single night; and fucking hell the friendship we have really showed on stage nightly and I’ll never not be grateful for that.
To my Spice Boys: I can’t possibly imagine having done this with anybody else. There are no words to describe how truly grateful I am for you all. Thank you for bringing my choreography to life, thank you for always being real with me, thank you for being so damn easy to work with, thank you for your friendship… Just thank you for fucking “getting it” I love you guys from the bottom of my heart. I can’t wait to be back on the road with y’all.
To the unsung hero; my wife: thank you @georgieeclaudio for your support through out it all, from me playing the same song 40 times while I choreographed, to telling me if something looked shit, to backing me up and just being proud of me… I love you
