Is AI just a bubble, or a tool for transcendence? 🎞️ An Official Selection Spotlight, forged in the 48-hour Soulscape Cinema Lab. "GLASSWORK" by LA directors Michael Eng & Jonathan Perry is a breathtaking callback to Old Hollywood. It tells the story of a bold creator using an emergent medium to break her confines—a perfect metaphor for the AI revolution. What world will you build? 📽️Comment ‘glasswork’ to get the link for the full video. Created by @jonathanperryfilms and @michaeleng.ai , Glasswork was showcased at this year’s Soulscape event. Responding to the theme "What world will you build?", this piece tells the powerful story of a bold creator shattering her own confines through a cutting-edge medium. It’s absolutely stunning. Don't miss this highlight of this year's event. #tapnow #taptv #soulscape #createinpublc #aitools

We had originally planned to film Sentinelese down in Puerto Rico. So I went there on a location scout and had a chat with the territory's film commission. @tongo_pr led us on an excellent expedition and I wish we had a chance to film on the lovely island.

These photos are from two trips to Montana with Isabel. The first trip in 2022 was to check out Missoula and the second was in late 2023, attending to a personal family matter. At the time of our first visit, the University of Montana had offered me a gracious scholarship. I would go on to choose another university but UM is deeply special to me. Montana is a gorgeous state. After visiting the gun range, Isabel and I had a picnic on top of a mountain, watching elk run by. We lodged in a cabin on the Stock Farm and rode electric bikes into the night, fond memories.

After Crookery I flew back out to LA to do a shoot at @xitelabs for Ubisoft and Simple Films regarding Rainbow Six Siege. To use a full LED Volume was really cool.

It has been a few years since my last post... I want to catch everyone up. During my internet hiatus, I've had some amazing filmmaking experiences but unfortunately some pretty troublesome ones as well. I'd like to share it all within the upcoming weeks. Starting where we left off: after I arrived back from my first trip out to Los Angeles, Crookery went into production. Shown here, are some BTS photos featuring just some of the many amazing cast and crew that helped bring the story to life. I will be sharing more photos from this shoot in the future.

It has been a chaotic summer with productions on hold and plans evolving. Business travel never stops, but fun times are included.

I had never really experienced Pure Michigan until this adventure! @mumfordi26 totally changed my prospective about this state.

Happy Mother's Day! A picture from @subniveanmovie 's recent festival screening. MFF is a new film festival based in my childhood home town, so she came along. Hopefully, more to come!

"Philadelphia ordered a half-million N95 masks to protect first-responders from coronavirus. They never arrived." ⁣ /health/coronavirus/live/coronavirus-covid-19-philadelphia-pennsylvania-new-jersey-confirmed-case-updates-news-20200407.html⁣ ⁣ I organized some friends of mine to deliver 50+ care packages to local families with first responders. These packs contained: Gloves, Masks, Soap, Disinfectant, and Toilet Paper. The battle against the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted countless lives. While many of us are taking shelter from the storm, our brave public service workers have spent every day on the front lines of this battle. Despite the risks, they continued to work because there are people they need to keep safe, to transport, to feed, to serve, to try to protect. But sadly, many of these brave Americans have lost their lives to complications from this virus. ⁣ ⁣ Go to or go follow @PSWPU to see how you can get involved and help those on the front lines. ⁣ ⁣ Paid for by the American Federation of State, County & Municipal Employees
