There are some things that I keep personal and off of here. I like to deal with things the best way I know how to and it doesnāt involve the internet. However, a lot of my people are grieving and when it comes to grief, that is something that stays with you forever. It seems like time is one of the few things that teaches you how to cope. The only way through it, is to go the it. For me, art is one of the things that also gets me through, as well as experiencing activities that brought joy to those who can no longer experience it.
Andrew Garfield said it best. āI hope this grief stays with me, because itās all the unexpressed love I didnāt get to tell her.ā

Pairing African food with African wines can be difficult but Cha made it easy. Especially when @chefbintou throws down in the kitchen. Take me back to last Sunday where one of my personal favorite experiences went down in Shelby NC at @oldnorthfarmwnc 5th Annual Fish Pickin. Thereās not too many experiences I look forward to, so this was a treat for those who enjoy less fluff and organic, welcoming, and a nourishing good time. Open field, great music, great company, impeccable food, and great hospitality all around. The South truly is the heartbeat of America. Put this in a time capsule and take me back š«

Jeremy Buck, @jeremyrbuck , owner and drink maker at Coterie in Charleston, was inspired to create this tea-infused pisco cocktail when he first tasted a dish dressed with a strawberry, tomato, and balsamic reduction. āI love the way the earthiness of the tomato combines with the sweetness of the strawberry and the acidity that brings it all together,ā he says. While the vinegars brighten up the drink, pisco enhances its fruity and earthy notes. āThe chamomile helps to calm and bring the whole cocktail together, while the use of shrub in a tea drink is an unexpectedly bright and refreshing take,ā he adds.
