This past weekend on 14th Street, Art in Odd Places 2025: NOTHING celebrated its 20th anniversary – twenty years of remaining radical, relevant, and grassroots. This year’s theme, NOTHING, unfolded as a quiet yet powerful act of presence, interruption, and resistance. Passersby were invited to pause, wander, and encounter subtle gestures of stillness and poetic refusal woven into the city’s everyday rhythm. Sidewalks, storefronts, and intersections became stages for reflection and gentle disruption. The weekend closed not with spectacle, but with a shared moment of awareness—a reminder that even in doing nothing, we continue to imagine everything.
