Letzten Samstag, am 2. Mai feierte „Kiebich und Dutz“ Premiere! ✨ Ein wunderbares Stück mit besonderer Musik und spannenden Sound-Effekten, starken Bildern und vielen Momente, die zum Nachdenken anregten. Kiebich, der bisher sicher und bequem in einem Kasten lebte und nur die Abenteuer aus seinem Comic kannte, will endlich in die echte Welt! Sein Freund Dutz bekommt Schiss und bleibt zurück. Oder etwa doch nicht? Was braucht es, um den ersten Schritt zu gehen und den sicheren Kasten zu verlassen? Was ist Mut? Und was bedeutet echte Freundschaft? Ein spannendes Theaterstück mit Live-Musik für Menschen ab 8 Jahren. Noch bis Ende Mai zu sehen und ab Herbst 2026. Natürlich bei uns im Schlossplatztheater! “Throughout my entire life I’ve had to prove that I am, above all, a composer, and one who is as serious and as smart as any of my male colleagues. My music has been very successful, and I think it’s despite the fact that I’m a woman, while my colleagues have thought it’s clearly because I’m a woman! I’ve said to myself, “Fine, I’m a woman and I accept the fact that people say I’m a compositrice.” But of course, this term doesn’t work as eloquently in other languages as it does in French. In English, you’d have to say “woman composer,” but you’d never say “man composer.” So I don’t consider myself a compositrice. It’s more of a silly quip that makes people think. As for my material emerging from my experience as a woman, that’s just a point of departure. Once I begin composing, I transform it into pitch and rhythm. So whatever that experience is, it simply becomes an element of my work and not a personal story—that’s all that matters. The material can come from our own lives, the lives around us, or wherever. Sichtbar, anerkannt – und heute kaum bekannt: Lady Mary Dering (1629–1704) war eine der frühesten überlieferten Komponistinnen Englands. Ihre Musik entstand im privaten Umfeld eines aristokratischen Lebens, blieb lange im Schatten – und ist doch historisch bedeutsam: Drei ihrer Lieder wurden 1655 von ihrem Lehrer Henry Lawes veröffentlicht und gelten als die ersten gedruckten Kompositionen einer Frau in England. Was erhalten ist, zeigt eine prägnante, stilistisch im Barock verankerte Handschrift – eingebettet in die musikalische Praxis ihrer Zeit. 🔍 Im Rahmen von SONUS FEMINÆ widmen wir uns am 9. und 10. Sichtbar, erfolgreich – und heute fast vergessen: Elisabetta de Gambarini (1730–1765) war eine der vielseitigsten Musikerinnen Londons – Komponistin, Sängerin, Cembalistin und Dirigentin. 1748 veröffentlichte sie als erste Frau in Großbritannien eine eigene Sammlung für Tasteninstrumente, trat in Werken von Händel auf und prägte das Musikleben ihrer Zeit.
