Our solo presentation of @jonaslund at Zero 10, as part of @artbasel in Hong Kong, brings together key works from Network Maintenance, alongside the generative software work Optimized Trajectory and the video The Future of Growth.
Across sculptural devices, software, and moving image, the presentation treats maintenance not as background labour but as a conditionâcontinuous upkeep, calibration, and adjustment as the quiet work that keeps complex systems running. In parallel, it stays with the pressure to optimise and scale: growth as a structural demand that reshapes behaviour, responsibility, and perception.
Rather than offering a single narrative, the booth unfolds as a sequence of encountersâshowing stability as something actively produced, and âprogressâ as an unstable process that generates new dependencies, frictions, and forms of care.

Very happy to announce that Smart Burn Contract #11 â Hoarder has been acquired by Centre Pompidou. @centrepompidou â It's especially nice, as a right-wing talking point is often that Centre Pompidou should be self-funded by selling their collection, and now they are no longer able to do so, the perfect answer to this suggestion â "We are contractually obliged to not sell any of our works"
Smart Burn Contracts is a series of contractual agreements that the owner enters upon purchase of the NFT piece. If the terms written on the piece are not fulfilled, the Artist will burn the NFT and thus destroy it and remove it from the owners wallet.
What kinds of decisions are handed over to the system?
@jonaslund speaks about delegation, control, and the distribution of decision-making within Performance Review.

What does AGENT actually do?
A short explanation by @jonaslund on the role of AGENT within Performance Review â not as a metaphor around the exhibition, but as part of its operative structure.
#JonasLund #PerformanceReview #OfficeImpart #DigitalArt
In Performance Review @jonaslund turns the exhibition into a live infrastructure.
During opening hours, AGENT generates and directs tasks, while human workers on site carry out the practical, material, and administrative actions required to keep the system running. Through this process, artworks do not simply appear as finished objects, but emerge from a structure of instruction, execution, review, and decision-making.
Selected parts of this activity can also be followed via the projectâs public interface:

PR-TRAINING-IMAGE-020
A figure in training. Or a figure performing readiness.
This painting sits inside the exhibitionâs larger system of delegated authorship, evaluation, and display. The body reads as confident at first, but the image is really about learned presentation: how authority is staged, rehearsed, and repeated until it starts to detach from the person performing it.

I let an AI agent take over my exhibition.
It decides what gets made, what gets rejected, how people work, and how the show talks about itself.
These are the first 3 days of Performance Review.
Come see it at @office_impart in Berlin and check out the live-stream WedâFriday 12:00â18:00 CEST â link in bio
Day 1 of production.
The system is running.
Workers are in the studio. Paint is moving. Instructions are becoming objects.
At Performance Review, production is not hidden behind the exhibition. It is the exhibition.

Now on view: Performance Review, a solo exhibition by @jonaslund
With Performance Review, the gallery becomes part of an AI-governed production system. Directed by the autonomous agent AGENT, the exhibition unfolds as a continuous loop of production, labour, evaluation, and selective public visibility.
During opening hours, parts of the systemâs activity can also be followed live via the project website.

OFFICE IMPART, Berlin

This Thursday we open Performance Review, Jonas Lundâs upcoming solo exhibition at OFFICE IMPART.
In Performance Review, the gallery becomes part of an AI-governed production system. At its center is an autonomous agent that directs the creation, evaluation, and circulation of artworks in real time â deciding what is produced, what is approved, and how it is presented. But the system does not stop at artistic output: labor, procurement, communication, and resource management also become part of the workâs logic.
Extending questions Lund explored in Studio Practice (2016), the exhibition turns the gallery into a live feedback loop in which artworks, labor, and infrastructure are subjected to the same conditions of measurement, adjustment, and control.
