Double Jump is YOURS!!!!!! This is the first song I’ve released on Mugic Records (the label I launched 6 months ago) after spending so much time helping other artists roll out their music. That made this one feel especially meaningful to finally share myself. Double Jump is a liquid Drum & Bass track with an atmospheric Jungle spirit. For me, it is about taking stock of how far you’ve come, letting go of what you need to leave behind, and still finding the courage to keep climbing. It also came together faster than anything I’ve ever made. I got home from a show with the melody in my head, hummed it into my phone, and finished writing it the next day in about three hours.

Combining intricate sound design, emotional depth, and underground energy into a style uniquely his own. His music has been featured on Liquid Stranger’s Wakaan Weekly playlist, and he’s released with labels including The Gradient Perspective, Aspire Higher, and BASSCVLT. Within the last year alone, Jonas has gone from his debut hometown performance in NYC to sharing stages with Jaenga, Flava D, AHEE, Josh Teed, DAGGZ, and Mantra Sounds with even bigger bookings on the horizon. Beyond the music itself, Jonas recently founded Mugic.us Records, whose debut compilation reached #1 across multiple Beatport categories. The label has quickly become recognized for its strong sense of world building, curation, and community-driven culture that reflects the same wizardlike creativity that has made Jonas such a respected figure in underground bass music. We’ve already begun building toward the next phase of the project together across releases, branding, strategy, and live growth, and we’re incredibly excited for what’s ahead. 🖼️ Artwork Reveal: Double Jump is YOURS at midnight 🕛 Not many of you know this but I’ve personally been helping to design many of the @mugic.us Records cover artworks using Canva and Photoshop For my own music project, most of what I’ve made has been red or purple. While these are my two favorite colors, I thought changing it up for this release would be more symbolic. Because for a while limiting yourself can help form an identity - but at some point you have to break the mold even if you’re the one who created it. Double Jump operates in much the same way.
