If you’re subscribed to my website you may already have received this news in your inbox! ‘It is my greatest privilege to be returning to the stage with my own show and in my own environs. I have changed and grown a great deal since many of you last saw me, and I aim to show that to you in short order in September! I intend on performing many of the numbers from the new album (Speaking To You), a broad selection of my back catalogue, and generally giving you a taste of how my 30s are treating me. I have strode upon a series of crossroads in this short and beautiful life, and this album has been once more a culmination of those peculiar circumstances and serendipitous meetings. I hope that you feel the ‘forward facing nostalgia’ I have tried to evoke in this record, to bring the past to the present while remaining sincere to that past. Happy Mother’s day to those of you celebrating across the pond and beyond the bounds of the UK! I know many countries celebrate today and I send my love to you all! This one always sneaks up on the British, I’m sure a few of you are familiar with that sinking feeling of wondering if you’ve missed the chance to prepare for mother’s day, only to remember that yours has come and gone already!! Me though? I’ll take any opportunity to speak about the wonderful woman who brought me into this world, and has for some impossible to fathom reason been endlessly supportive of my interminable madness. Overcoming challenges that were invisible not just to me but to most everyone around her, whilst supporting me through my own endeavours in this strange wilderness. It is an unknowable task to walk beside anyone as they tread their path, and another order of magnitude of difficulty to attempt to steer them out of imminent danger whilst accepting them wholly as they are. That is the privilege I have been wrought purely by the serendipity of my birth. Beat that! Regardless of where you may be though, it’s always a fine opportunity to give praise to those women who have raised us up. A little flashback to earlier in the week, visiting @the_blue_cross in Suffolk and seeing so many wonderful animals and the people who take care of them! Here’s 4 sweet kittens and their mother that were already bound for loving homes. The mother cat here is beautiful so no surprise to see such gorgeous kittens! I’m very much looking forward to attending Blue Cross Suffolk’s 10th anniversary event at their centre in Wherstead near Ipswich on Monday 4th May. It was lovely to be invited and I’ll get the opportunity to meet some pets on the day - I have even been asked to help judge the dog show! It promises to be a fun day with lots of activities and I look forward to seeing some of you there if you’re able to attend. (It’s open from 11 am till 3 pm) @the_blue_cross (I say 10 am in this video but it actually starts at 11am- my apologies!)

A Monday morning post to make you smile!😊 I recently received the third ‘Jonathan’ as a gift in the mail! Everything has a story, the one flip flop story will be known to many Fantoines that have been around since my professional musical journey began. These figurines are amazing and most definitely a talking point!! I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for the love and support you show me on a daily basis, scattered throughout the world - the majority of you live quite far away but I do hope one day that I get to perform for you all and that we have the opportunity to meet.
