Despite the forecast, Ayanna Gregory—daughter of our master teacher, the love and the legend Dick Gregory—will bless the space. She joins me alongside @djrachi to set a tone of celebration and closure.
They would show up even if it were just us.
That kind of love deserves witnesses.
Regardless, we will have a good time.

I AM so thankful for everyone who came to my event, who purchased Art, who shared space, who reposted the flyer, who sent good intentions my way.. love was received and exponentially propelled forward. It has been a week since my closing and I’m still brought to tears. This has become my personal theme song and the energy for 2026 moving forward.
May you make this day your day and create!

This was completed in two hours, after speaking to some of the guests I was inspired to paint an office desk with a waterfront view. A reminder we all can achieve joy in this lifetime. These entrepreneurs work so hard to create a lane for their ideas while building generational wealth. I hope this peace brings you all as much peace as it did me..

This weekend we live painted at Petal Palooza at the Navy Yard, kicking off Cherry Blossom Season.
It was a full circle moment because I used to work at DOT and had peers Tell me that I would never find a better job or opportunity and that I was very silly for leaving. Now, years later here I am on the same block making what I made in a day in an hour.
This Saturday come pour your heart. @sonypictures_ is hosting thuggish ruggish poems women’s empowerment showcase and I’ll be djn. Started a few years ago and I dj’d there too I’m honored to be invited back. We will be at @lookingglasslounge doors open at 6:30 - donation encouraged
