For 25 years these people, this building, this culture, this logo have been at the center of who I am today. Never would I have thought I would be looking at the Stone in the rear view mirror but life ebbs and flows whether we like it or not. Thank you everyone for being so awesome, helping me grow and always making Monrovia feel like my home.
The amount of appreciation and love I have for my dad for giving us the gift of this life we’ve gotten to experience is insurmountable. He’s poured his heart and soul into Volcom, while also being an amazing father, mentor and leader. Even though our journey ends here, I know he will go on to achieve something even greater than this. He’s a truly unique man, with a truly unique story and is truly my hero.
Although it’s a somber goodbye, I will never forget the memories, places and relationships this place has given me and one day, I will be able pass down the legend of what once was and forever will be Volcom.
The pain we feel isn’t loss, it’s love.
