10 days out until the return of Gentleman Surfer, with a new lineup and some new music! Also the return of our incredible friends Loolowningen (Japan) and the first time in the US for Sa-Yuu (Japan) ❤️ rounding it all out is the homies in Blous3. So Stoked!
My good friend Rorac Johnson has spearheaded this project with me for several years now, which has come to be called “Hypothetical Objects”. We have a brand new album available, and I hope you will give it a listen! Rorac is an excellent musician and human, I really dig the stuff we make together❤️ /album/kin-sthesia

Last jam of the year! Looking forward to starting a new one and trying again. It has been a slow and somewhat aimless month of music, so I’m looking forward to putting my head down and getting back to work. Lots of love to you

Where do I even begin? I met 𝘑𝘰𝘯 on MySpace probably close to 20 years ago. I really dug his music, messaged with him,and we sorta became instant friends. We have continued this friendship through multiple social media platforms, missed connections, and hangs in Cali and Missouri of all places (We got to see 𝘠𝘰𝘸𝘪𝘦 together! ). A constant thing we have always done was check in on each other like good friends do. I had been pushing him to tour for a bit, just to get him out of Sacramento and sorta take a break from life. So I was incredibly stoked when he decided to do so. I hit up a bunch of mutual friends, and this show came to be. 𝘑𝘰𝘯 is an amazing drummer and even more so an amazing friend. I don't think I would have rather had someone else with me when I got the life altering news... that my best friend 𝘑𝘧𝘳𝘦 had passed. This is why it's taken so long to edit and post these photos and videos from this particular night. A night I had also invited 𝘑𝘧𝘳𝘦 to, but he had to work. And a night that was oddly filled with stories of 𝘑𝘧𝘳𝘦 amongst our mutual friends and people that I didn't even know that knew him. He has touched so many lives. It hit all of us off kilter. Thank you so very much for being there for me 𝘑𝘰𝘯 and for being such an incredible friend and human. I love you so much. ❤️
𝘔𝘳. 𝘌𝘣𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩. This guy. I met just this year... and I think that he's played at all but two shows that I've been to this year. You can obviously tell I'm a fan, and I'm also so glad to call him a friend, too. ❤️ Just scroll through my posts from this year to get some more 𝘙𝘺𝘢𝘯 experience.
This show is my last of the year. I'm so glad I got to spend it with so many good people and people I care about. Thank you for making it a rad night... even though it ended rather rough for me.
• I know this post is rather personal and not my usual break down of what is what musically. I'm just in a weird place... so I apologize. Keep being kind to each other and tell the people you love- that you love them often.
And go add these slayers of music ❤️
I am VERY excited to finally share this new “Raskin Bafus” album “Ultimately, It’s Everything” with you! I really love these recordings and the zones we got into. I hope you will take a listen 🖤💚❤️🩵 Ps, this is my newest painting, made especially for this album 🤠 link in my bio
