Girl Swallows Nightingale is the mythic art-pop universe of Oakland artist Marica Petrey, channeling the spirit of the Nue (鵺) — the night-crying yōkai — through cinematic sound, movement, and mythic storytelling.
This premiere debuts Moonlight Sessions, a live performance film EP and second collaboration with Oakland cinematographer Jon Sun / Jyun (寯)
