Sport doesn’t just give you a stage, it gives us belonging, purpose and a place to come home to.
The last time I stood on this stage, I was receiving the Maties Sportswoman of the Year award 🏆 and to return now, in this capacity, all these years later, is truly an honour. I am a proud Matie alumna, and I will always be grateful for the doors the Maroon Machine has opened and the opportunities it created for me. 🙏🏽
