As your Mayor, I made a commitment to Long Beach: tackle our toughest challenges head-on and deliver results. We've created over 4,000 good-paying jobs. Hired more than 200 new police officers and lowered the crime rate from when we took office. And we delivered our city's first reduction in homelessness in a decade. We're moving in the right direction — but the job's not finished. I'm asking for your vote by June 2 to keep building a future for all of us.

Long Beach is leading. 4,100+ new high-skill, high-wage jobs. Named the Most Business-Friendly City in LA County — besting 87 others. And we’re just getting started. With our Grow Long Beach initiative, we brought major employers like Ford Motor Company’s EV research hub, Vast, and Nikon AM Synergy to our city. These are jobs that stabilize families and build real wealth in our community. That’s how we build a Long Beach that works for every family. Make your plan to vote by Tuesday, June 2.

Long Beach has unique neighborhood and amazing neighbors. This weekend, we had a great time at our Bixby Knolls backyard meet and greet, hosted by John and Velika Mosquera. The only thing better than the conversation was the brisket! To host your own, sign up at JoinRexRichardson.com!

I’m honored to have the Teachers Association of Long Beach’s endorsement. Our teachers show up for our students every single day. I’m proud to be the ONLY candidate endorsed by the Los Angeles County Democratic Party. From labor to community leaders to grassroots activists, this campaign is powered by a growing coalition that believes in the progress we’re making in Long Beach. Democratic values aren’t just words—they’re action: •Building an economy that creates opportunity. •Keeping families housed. •Investing in safer neighborhoods. •Standing up to protect our community. Jobs. Housing. Safety. Accountability. We’ve made real progress, but the job is not finished. Let’s keep moving Long Beach forward. June 2, 2026.
