Every year 35,000 players are released from football academies and only 1% of aspiring players make it to the professional level. What then happens to the 99% is left unattended to and it hurts their mental health and they are not able to fit well into society. That is why Jeremie Frimpong founded the PATHWAYS PROJECT to help players build a life beyond football.
