BREAKING: Gunman at Large After Assassination of Diego Morales During Día de Libertad Festivities No Puerta Villa, Copan — April 26, 2026 Authorities across Copan are conducting a nationwide manhunt after the assassination of presidential candidate Diego Morales, who was gunned down during the Día de Libertad celebrations on April 25. The unidentified shooter remains at large, intensifying fears of further political violence in an already volatile election season. Morales was killed in what officials now confirm was a close-range shooting in a narrow alleyway just off the main festival route in No Puerta Villa on the 25th of April. The candidate had been preparing to address supporters later that afternoon in what was expected to be a major campaign moment aimed at consolidating rural backing. Confusion, Chaos, and a Failed Security Detail In the immediate aftermath, suspicion briefly fell on Emilo Hoder, an off-duty Copanian Federal Police officer, who was detained following accusations made by members of Morales’ protection detail. That detail, contracted through Worldwide Security Solutions (WSS)—a U.S.-based private security firm—claimed Hoder had been acting suspiciously near the candidate prior to the shooting. However, investigators later released Hoder after verifying his alibi. Provincial police sources confirmed that witness timelines and corroborating evidence placed him away from the scene at the time of the assassination. Attention has since shifted sharply toward the conduct of Morales’ own security team. Multiple witnesses interviewed by provincial authorities reported that members of the WSS detail appeared to be drinking alcohol while on duty earlier in the day. Officers conducting on-site interviews noted the smell of alcohol on several members of the team in the immediate aftermath of the shooting. A senior provincial investigator, speaking on condition of anonymity, described the lapse bluntly: “There are serious questions about readiness, discipline, and basic protective protocols. This was a high-risk environment, and the response was clearly inadequate.”

Copanian Times | Political & Economic Desk Presidential Hopeful Diego Morales Meets with Chinese Delegation Amid Growing Tech Expansion in Copán and FEB States By Harry Bush April 20, 2026 No Puerta Villa, Copán — Presidential candidate Diego Morales, representing the conservative Copán Republicanos in parliament, is facing mounting scrutiny after reports confirmed he held a closed-door meeting this week with a delegation of Chinese business and technology officials. According to campaign sources, the meeting focused on potential investment opportunities tied to rapidly expanding data center infrastructure, cloud computing networks, and cryptocurrency-related operations across Latin America—particularly within Copán and neighboring Federación de los Estados Bolivarianos (FEB) member states. Strategic Technology Push The Chinese delegation, described as representatives of major technology conglomerates and blockchain infrastructure firms, is reportedly exploring Copán as a strategic hub for regional digital expansion. Analysts note that Copán’s evolving regulatory environment, combined with its proximity to FEB-aligned markets, makes it an attractive location for large-scale data operations and crypto-mining infrastructure. Sources familiar with the discussions say Morales emphasized a willingness to “modernize Copán’s digital economy” while maintaining national sovereignty—though details of any agreements or commitments remain undisclosed. Political Fallout The revelation has sparked immediate reactions across Copán’s political spectrum. This come at a time when Luga Industries is looking to build a mega data center with AI, cloud computing networks, and LugaCoin cryptocurrency-related operations. The new Luga Industries mega data center is having a ground breaking ceremony near Blakelys, Copan April 25, 2026 and is expected to be operational by late 2027.

Copanian Times Copanian Election Watch: Federico Montana and the Shadow of the FEB By Dick Skinner April 18, 2026 As Copán’s volatile presidential race intensifies ahead of the April 25 Día de Libertad celebrations, one candidate continues to polarize both the political establishment and the public: Federico Montana, standard-bearer of the far-left Movimiento Bolivariano. Montana, a former labor organizer turned firebrand populist, has built his campaign on promises of sweeping economic redistribution, national sovereignty over natural resources, and what he calls the “final dismantling of oligarchic control” in Copán. His rallies—often marked by fiery rhetoric and imagery drawn from revolutionary movements across Latin America—have drawn strong support in urban working-class districts and among rural communities long disillusioned with entrenched corruption. But beneath the slogans of equality and liberation, critics argue that Montana’s rise is closely intertwined with the regional ambitions of the Federación de los Estados Bolivarianos (FEB). Allegations of Foreign Influence Opponents from both the conservative Copán Republicanos and the emerging centrist-left GRIS party have accused Montana of acting as a political proxy for FEB leadership. Intelligence leaks and regional analysts suggest that Montana’s campaign and Movimiento Bolivariano has benefited from indirect logistical and financial support networks tied to FEB-aligned organizations. While Montana has publicly denied any improper coordination, his policy platform mirrors FEB doctrine with striking precision—particularly in calls for expanded state control over industry, alignment of foreign policy with FEB bloc nations, and a controversial proposal to “regionalize” security cooperation. “Montana doesn’t just admire the FEB model—he’s trying to import it wholesale,” said one senior Copanian political analyst. “The concern is whether Copán remains sovereign, or becomes economically and politically tethered to FEB priorities.” A Delicate Moment for Copán

Copán’s Political Landscape Shifts as New Party “GRIS” Emerges No Puerta Villa, Copán — A new political force is rapidly gaining traction across Copán, positioning itself as a populist alternative to the country’s increasingly polarized political establishment. Known as La Gente Revolucionaria para la Igualdad Social (GRIS), the movement is drawing support from urban workers, rural communities, and younger voters disillusioned with both traditional right- and left-wing factions. GRIS leaders describe the party as a “democratic socialist movement rooted in national dignity, anti-corruption, and economic fairness.” Its rise comes at a time when Copán remains deeply fractured—caught between insurgency, cartel violence, foreign influence, and economic uncertainty. A “Third Way” Message GRIS has carefully positioned itself between the conservative Copán Republicanos and the leftist Movimiento Bolivariano, both of which carry significant political baggage. The Copán Republicanos, led by figures like Diego Morales, emphasize law-and-order policies, religious values, and pro-business reforms. While popular among urban elites and conservative rural blocs, critics argue the party has struggled to address systemic inequality and corruption. On the opposite end, the Movimiento Bolivariano champions socialist reforms and regional solidarity. However, persistent allegations of influence from the neighboring Federacion de los Estados Bolivarianos (FEB) have undermined its credibility among nationalist voters wary of foreign interference. GRIS is attempting to exploit this divide. “We are not the party of oligarchs, and we are not the party of foreign ideologues,” said a GRIS spokesperson at a recent rally. “We are the party of the Copanian people.” Grassroots Momentum Unlike its rivals, GRIS has built momentum from the ground up. Its rallies—often held in working-class districts and conflict-affected rural provinces—feature a mix of anti-corruption messaging, calls for peace with insurgent groups, and promises to reinvest in infrastructure and public services. Along with the creation of the Dino Luga, Colonel Verduga and John Baker characters, Pete and I created Dino and Gino Vinochelli brothers AKA Dino and Gino Vino. Two tough Italian guys from Chicago that got drafted into the Vietnam War, and went on to excel at everything through brute strength. In their story they got out and became cops in Chicago in the 70s then went on to join the CIA in the 80s. We even thought out a movie trilogy plot with the titles; Vietnam: Vinochelli Style, Chi-Town Heat, and Kill a Commie for Mamasita. These characters were over the top, eating pizza, drinking beer, breaking all the rules (bosses always yelling at them), violent tendencies always on a hair trigger and tons of babes. We figure these larger than life characters would be too much to come to life outside a big screen. Definitely too much for Centurion. On another note; BE SURE YOU GET ON THE DISCORD SERVER. Warning orders will be on Discord soon to start planning Friday missions. -dave

Copanian Times Two Luga Industries Employees Reported Missing in Copán Amid Dispute Over Rare Earth Nationalization April 12, 2026 By Phil D Snapper Georgias Province, Copán — Two senior employees of Luga Industries have been reported missing under suspicious circumstances while engaged in high-level negotiations with the Copanian government over control of strategic rare earth mining assets, according to company officials and regional sources. The individuals have been identified as Richard Flemming, a corporate legal advisor specializing in international resource law, and Tom Ahern, a senior project manager overseeing Luga’s rare earth extraction operations in Copán’s interior provinces. Both were last seen three days ago departing a government complex in No Puerta Villa following what sources described as “tense but ongoing” discussions regarding the Copanian government’s recent nationalization of foreign-held mining assets. The move—widely viewed as a response to mounting economic pressure and geopolitical tensions—has placed Luga Industries at the center of a growing legal and diplomatic standoff. According to internal company communications, Flemming and Ahern were preparing to file an emergency injunction in Copanian courts aimed at halting the transfer of operational control of several key mining sites. Those filings have not materialized, and all contact with the pair ceased shortly after their departure. Unconfirmed intelligence reports suggest that the two may have been sequestered by elements of Fuerzas Armadas Revolucionarias para la Igualdad Social (FARIS), the insurgent movement that has increasingly asserted influence over resource-rich regions of Copán. However, no group has claimed responsibility, and officials caution that attribution remains speculative. A spokesperson for Luga Industries issued a brief statement: “We are deeply concerned for the safety and well-being of our colleagues. We are working closely with local authorities and international partners to determine their whereabouts and ensure their safe return. At this time, we urge restraint in speculation.” Read the rest on Centurion's Discord Community Channel.
