You read it right and see it right. We are at Villa Caroline in Albi, France and Caroline is knitting while we take a break after countless miles walking up and down hill all day. I'd like to share something witty, but I'm hardly awake though it's only before 6:00 in the late afternoon, while dinner is still 2.5 hours away. Long, exhausting days on vacation...nothing to complain about.
Overwhelmed by one of the most ornate cathedrals we've visited, it's also the world's largest brick cathedral. Before arriving in Albi, France, this afternoon, we had a brilliant visit to Cordes, France and if you've not heard of it, you should.
Having a Monet moment on a walk along the Aure River in the French countryside in Bayeux. Our visit to the Tapestry was amazing, though no photos are allowed, hence the river walk as this remembrance.
