Had a mega session on manor farm @linearfisheriesofficial this week end landing 10 fish to 41lb 10oz including a 38lb 8oz a mid 30 and a few upper 20s definitely got the buzz back after my last couple of sessions! So what started off to be a slow session at Farlows up against the spring weather with the very high air pressure and not being able to fish zigs I decided to make the move to @orchidlakesofficial couldn’t get in the zone the first night so done an overnighter then managed to get in the zone the second night quickly got amongst them landing what I now know to be a new PB mirror a fish known as dumb and dumber at 37.8 but we wasn’t done yet the next day landing another 3 fish 2 of them being over 30lb scampi at 34lb and tk at 33.4lb things wasn’t easy but kept changing it up and the bites keep coming! Just come back from another mega Social at @swan.valley.yateley several fish caught unlucky for me it just wasn’t my time for anyone that don’t know I arrange carp fishing socials all over the country at all the top venues we don’t charge loads of money on top like other companies we just do it for everyone to go and have a good time. Everyone on it is at a good standard of angling but we are happy for beginners to come along. Just got back from a mega trident social session at Orchid Lakes on the first night lost two fish by getting cut off by zebra muscles. Everything was doom and gloom but a change up of tactics and re-spool of fluorocarbon and deciding to only fish one rod. Help me turn the session around landing 7 fish none of the monsters but a couple of old gnarly ones I just want to say that Orchid Lakes is one of the best day tickets I have had the pleasure to fish since the new ownership the lake is even better than it ever was before and all the staff there go above and beyond to make your session perfect they even come out and help me clear some weed in the boat. Any problems they was there straight away to help mega place and mega fishery management. Can’t wait to get there more now. The gaffer is back!! trident owner @johnsmithcarpangler recently done his first session of the year on the St John’s @linearfisheriesofficial the fish was all stacked up in an area where he just couldn’t get to due to angling pressure but stayed consistent changing things up using in-line leads in solid bags and zip distance to fish zigs at range the hard work paid off when he slipped in it under this old St John’s 34lber! Smhf carp social! Had a great laugh with good company at a very good event run by @shane.beard.798 raising money for men’s mental health, chosen charity was MIND we raised over £2000 including raffles, barbecue, donations and more was honoured to be a part of the event as we all know someone that is affected by mental health or even being through or are going through mental health our self I just want to say if there’s anybody struggling or ever needs anyone to talk to? I’m always here. the fishing side of things was hard there was 28 anglers on St John’s linear and I was the only person to catch! Can’t wait for the next one, really enjoyed it roll-on to Thursday.
