Happy Thanksgiving weekend from us to you. I’m thankful to God for the gift of family and the gift of spiritual family that so many of you are to me.
I want to encourage any of you who are still waiting on God this weekend, perhaps even waiting for your family to be what you desire—keep trusting Jesus and following Him. His road leads to life and light, but it is the narrow way.
Where there are bumps on your path, events that appear to be dead ends, or tight turns that you cannot see beyond, keep doing what Jesus says. Stay faithful in your Bible believing church.
Keep serving, praying, giving and daily obeying.
I love the promise from Jeremiah 29 for you and all of God’s people. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and future.”
More than anything this Thanksgiving, let’s give thanks to God for loving us and being a guide we can depend on in every season of this life. In Christ He has given us the greatest gift—eternal life with Him. // photos by @rachelvanovenphotographer highly recommend
